Hello, my name is Wispa. I’m a happy little parrot and I live in London with lots of my brothers. My main hobby is collecting all kinds of different goolry and other shiny objects. I absolutely LOVE da bling, you see; I can NEVER have too much!

Now, you might think that this is slightly unusual for a parrot and, if so, you’d be absolutely right – parrots aren’t exactly known for pinching shiny stuff; if they were, pirates certainly wouldn’t trust them with buried treasure, would they? But in my case, you see, my obsession for shiny sparkly things is in the genes. That’s because, although my mummy was a parrot, my daddy was actually a magpie! See? So I just can’t help myself.

This is me in the snow in 2010. As you can see, I have to take off most of my bling when I go out just in case I lose any of it. That's why I usually stay indoors!
