Welcome to Urban Parrot
Hello and welcome to Urban Parrot – the website for city parrots everywhere!
Of course, city life would be far more dull without the contribution made by the urban parrot population and this site will introduce you to some of the more colourful parrot characters who live right in the very heart of London!
First off, there’s Pafetik. He’s a multi-talented parrot who claims to be “good at everything”. Certainly, he’s an accomplished artikist (he even has his very own website dedicated to his artistic genius: https://pafetik-artikist.webnode.com/ ) and his hobbies include eating bongy-bongs (that’s bon bons to you and me) and watching cowgaboy films. Next, there’s little Wispa. He just loves collecting shiny objects and he has absolutely loads of them! On occasion, he’s been known to help himself to unguarded bling but he’s a good boy really; he claims that he can’t help himself because bling-pinching is “in da geens” by which he means that he has a genetic propensity towards it which he gets from his daddy’s side of the family. Finally there’s Crackers and he certainly lives up to his name! Crackers is just crazy about the Royal Family and especially loves the Queen. He’s always been a very patriotic little parrot and so 2012 has been a wonderful year for him as he’s celebrated Elizabeth II’s Diamond Jubilee. Besides a good deal of flag-waving and cheering, Crackers was there for the Jubilee Flotilla and you can see some pictures of him celebrating on his Goobayee page!
